Last time we mentioned how to choose the reflow oven, chain speed cannot be adjuested casually. Because the solder paste melting to volatility time is fixed.
The Chain speed in each reflow oven should be:
8 zones : 87.5 cm/min
10 zones: 106 cm/min
12 zones: 126 cm/min
So you can caculate how many zones you need according to your production capacity.
Today we want to tell you about the temperature.
The relationship between set temperature and actual temperature is important. Many reflow oven can set 230 celsius degree, but the temperature in oven should just 170 celsius degree. There has so many reason. So several manufacturer think an idea and do this: set the temperature on computer is 230 celsius degree, but the heating wire temperature is 250 celsius degree.
We know this's fake and wrong, but many manufacturers are using this way. Because the temperature profile is good.
So if you want to choose the prefect reflow oven, you need to cleaning your eyes. Cheap with not good quality.
Many international manufacturers will find ways to improve thermal efficiency. We want to tell you how did I.C.T do it.
